One day after announcing his retirement as a player, UConn men’s basketball legend Kemba Walker has joined the Charlotte Hornets as a player enhancement coach.
Walker joins the staff of new head coach Charles Lee, who was hired after working for the NBA champion Boston Celtics.
It's a homecoming for Walker, who spent eight seasons with Charlotte. He is the franchise's all-time leader in points, field goals, 3-pointers, free throws and minutes played.
